Employees celebrated at British Engines Awards

Congratulations to our employees who received an award at the 2020/2021 British Engines Group Annual Awards.

The awards night celebrates long serving employees who have been a part of the group for 25 and 50 years, as well as the apprentices in their 2nd, 3rd and 4th years.

Alan Esslemont was awarded for 25 years of service, starting with the group in 1995. Alan has shown fantastic professionalism representing BEL Valves when working around the world in countries including America, Brazil, Norway, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, to name just a few.

Alan is thought very highly of in every department and his dedication to the company is impeccable. His great attitude to work and to his colleagues is a credit to him.

Well done to our apprentices, Ewan Lowry winning a 2nd Year (2020) Apprentice Award, Callum McLellan winning a 3rd Year (2020) Apprentice Award, and Jake Allison for winning the Apprenticeship + Foundation Individual Award.

A special mention goes out to Callum McLellan for winning the overall group H. T, Lamb Award (2021) which is given to the apprentice who has consistently demonstrated high standards of performance across all aspects of their training and work.

All apprentices were commended for their outstanding levels of commitment and versatility as they progress through their apprenticeships.
