As 2025 draws to a close, we’ve taken the opportunity to reflect on what has been a landmark year for BEL Valves. From strategic investment in the energy transition to the successful delivery of major global projects, alongside continued focus on our people and community, this year has been one of real progress and momentum.
At the start of the year, BEL Valves took a significant step towards supporting a lower-carbon future with the launch of our Hydrogen and Carbon Capture (F4H+CCUS) department. Established to position the business at the forefront of the clean energy sector, the department is headed by Business Development Director, Steve Carty.

This strategic move reflects our long-term commitment to supporting emerging energy markets, with 2025 laying strong foundations for future success. Looking ahead to 2026, we will continue to push boundaries in carbon capture, with our first contract award in this space set to be announced in the new year.
Throughout the year, BEL Valves has successfully completed several high-profile projects across the oil and gas sector, reinforcing our reputation for quality, reliability and technical excellence.
Key achievements include:

These projects showcase the trust our customers place in BEL Valves to deliver complex solutions on time and to the highest standards.
In 2025, we reached an important operational milestone by achieving an on-time delivery score of 90%. This is an outstanding achievement within our industry and places BEL Valves among the very best globally. It reflects the dedication, collaboration and continuous improvement mindset across our teams.
This year also marked our return to the exhibition circuit, attending Hydrogen Technology Exhibition 2025 in Hamburg. It was a valuable opportunity to reconnect with industry partners and showcase our capabilities in hydrogen and clean energy markets.

We welcomed customers and colleagues to our Offshore Europe Drinks Reception in Aberdeen for the second time, reinforcing relationships across the sector.
Now we’re looking ahead to 2026, with plans to exhibit at IVS and Hydrogen Technology once again. We hope to see you there!
Behind the scenes, 2025 has been a hugely important year for our people. We proudly welcomed apprentices across new departments for the first time, including Valve Technician, Paint, Quality, Purchasing and Engineering, strengthening our future skills pipeline.
Our apprentices were also recognised at the Beyond Awards, achieving outstanding success:
We recently achieved the Better Health at Work (BWAW) Bronze Award, following successful health and wellbeing campaigns led by our health advocates, including Healthy Eating, Stop Smoking and Alcohol Awareness initiatives.
Throughout the year, we continued to thank and support our employees through activities organised by Sports, Social and Charity, alongside donations to local groups via the BEL Valves Community Fund.
In partnership with British Engines, we also continued to support fantastic causes such as Cash for Kids and the West End Food Bank, raising funds through bake sales, Mission Christmas, raffles and Christmas Jumper Day.
While we’re proud of everything achieved in 2025, we’re already looking forward to what’s next. The new year will see us showcasing something special we have been working on in 2025, marking the beginning of a new era for BEL Valves. Keep an eye out for our new website coming soon…
