We are looking for a Cleaning Operative to join our team in Cramlington to undertake general cleaning duties to the prescribed standards within the office and shop floor areas of a manufacturing environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Cleaning interior surfaces, furnishings, fixtures and fittings
- Cleaning floors and hoovering floor coverings
- Maintaining toilet areas; clean all toilet appliances i.e. toilets, sinks etc. and replenish customer supplies i.e. hand towels, toilet rolls
- Maintaining kitchen / canteen areas; cleaning surfaces and equipment i.e. sinks, microwaves etc
- Clearing and removing rubbish and other items from areas and ensure the security of all areas at completion of duties
- Controlling the usage of materials ensuring the cleaning cupboard is kept tidy at all times
- Ensuring all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in a safe working order
- Reporting any problems so they may be rectified immediately
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties/request with this position
Who we’re looking for
To apply, we are looking for someone who has a minimum of one year’s experience within a similar role with a good knowledge of the importance of complying with Health and Safety standards in a work environment.

Normal hours of work are 10 per week working dayshift.
Monday to Thursday 4pm to 6pm and Friday 12pm to 2pm
